walking

Hiking on the GR 34 footpath, you'll find walking, cycling, riding tours with the scanned maps. These maps will be easily printed.

You have the choice to walk wherever you want: on the seaside, in the countryside, in the woods. There are nice and varied landscapes everywhere.

On the shore:
The GR34 footpath goes along the town of Etables/Mer, it used to be a lane for customs to watch the goods coming by boat.
You can only walk, it is forbidden to go cycling for safety reasons and not to spoil nature.
Walking along this path, you'll find out our fine sand beaches ("plage des Godelins" and "plage du Moulin"), the Chapel "Notre-Dame de l’Espérance", that overlooks the sea. You'll have a nice view on the St Quay Isles and the Bay of St Brieuc.

Don't miss the GR 34 footpath but think also about going for a walk in the countryside where you'll find out our nice natural and historic heritage.
The "Vallée du Ponto" tour follows the former railway line. You'll start at "Salle des Loisirs" (Former railway station), then you'll go to the "Viaduc des Pourrhis" (viaduct), built by Louis Harel de la Noë and restored by the " association pour la sauvegarde et la réhabilitation du Viaduc des Pourrhis".
From the viaduct, you'll reach the calvary of the street Louis (XVe). This lovely tour, full of pieces of historic heritage, goes through a wood, an orchard and goes along a pond.

This tour is one of the six beaconed and cleared circuits written on the « Plan-guide »of Etables/Mer, Plourhan, Lantic. (Map that you can download).

With the tourist information board of Etables/Mer, Plourhan, Lantic, you can go for a free hike every monday and wednesday.
